Collawquy, the first Amity Law School Semesterly Informal Magazine, has been incepted in September 2010 with a zeal to, not "put in place", but rather, "put out in the open" the already existent culture and excellent opinion in the hallowed portals of our Lawschool, currently revelling lazily in the cover of the quilts, routinely doing the gravity hand slam on the snooze alarm! :P
This exemely informal, yet deliciously erudite forum is for all to see and use! Anyone in the college, having an opinion, voice it here!
It’ll be a blogspace for Amity law school to connect via literary expression on any and every topic under the sun, be it a legal or general social issue making the news, personal experiences, or any observation or concern related to the college. The USP of this magazine is maximum participation from the Student body!
We have launched the inaugural issue in a very short warp of time, and have thus had little chance to reach out, in a comprehensive way, to our entire body of contributors! Nevertheless it has not been a bad start! alsmagcom@gmail.com was a cheerful inbox, jazzily littered with poetic contributions, more so than with anything else! And to see lawyers (would be!) breathe in this way.. WOW!
The purpose of collawquy.blogspot.com is to further increase student participation in this endeavor! We invite comments and suggestions from all and sundry, and also look forward to sharing the committee process and editorial experience with our readers, which we hope are not only the present student body and faculty, but our very dear alumni and faculty that have left us!
The Inaugural issue is slated for release on September 28th, 2010! Watch out for it!!
